It’s funny how the man only did his research up to point, and then stopped, just using the Old Testament to support himself.
It’s also really sad that she doesn’t know enough about her religion to defend it.
If you guys are curious, these thing he mentions are no longer laws. They were ceremonial laws put into place for the ancient Hebrews. After the coming of Christ, those laws were abolished. There are laws and things that are restated in the New Testament that makes them laws active today. One of which is the sin of homosexual interaction.
Just so you know.
A fun fact: The Apostle Paul was not, in fact, Jesus. NOTHING written in the Pauline Epistles can be considered “law” because Paul had no clerical authority. So the “sin” of homosexual interaction is either “law” because of what’s written down in the Torah, or it’s something about which Christians should remain silent because it’s not mentioned in any of the gospels or the other books written by Christ’s disciples.
TLDR A Christian can either choose to obey ALL the laws set down for Jews in the Torah or (s)he can shut the fuck up and follow Jesus’s teaching of “love everyone, always”
